Throughout Rust’s alpha release, it has been met with mixed critic reviews and many comparisons with other survival games have been made, with the most common one being the mixture between DayZ and Minecraft. Radiation was also removed due to the frustration it was causing players. It initially featured zombies as enemies, but subsequently replaced them with bears and wolves. Since Rust’s first alpha launch, animals, hunting and the ability to craft armor and weapons have been added. Raiding is a very common action, usually done in large clans. There is only a multiplayer mode and a prevalent concept in Rust is to form and join clans with other players. The game tasks players to survive in the wilderness by crafting items using the materials they gather or steal the player starts with only a rock and a torch. Rust was initially created as a clone of DayZ, a popular mod for ARMA 2 with the addition of crafting elements. Rust was originally released onto Steam’s Early Access program on 11 December 2013. The February 3 update for Rust has addressed the following issues: Let’s have a look at the issues addressed in the patch notes. The last big update of this game added Tech tree, 3KM maps, gestures, building blocks and much more. This new update will be available for the Xbox One and PS4 players and will fix issues with visuals, railings, and other bugs.
This Hotfix patch is also dubbed the Emergency Rust Patch. The update does not add any new content and has mostly fixed the bugs. The multiplayer game Rust has received a new update this month which has fixed some of the most common issues that were prevalent with regards to the gameplay.
